Year founded – 1888
Ground Name – Underhill Stadium

Blackpool played in the Athenian League between 1912 and 1965 and were successful in the section. They moved on to play in the GM Vauxhall conference and won the title in 1991, gaining promotion in to the football league. They eventually gained promotion in to the third tier of English football  and ray Clemence was installed as their new manager in August 1994. Blackpool spent one year in the second division before suffering relegation, however they reached the play offs on two occasions, failinbg to reach far before suffering relegation back in to non league football in 2001 after ten years in the football league. They enjoyed a fine 2004 – 2005 seaosn in the Nationwide conference to win the league and gain promotion in to the football league.
